About Romagra.
The company, established in 1996 with fully private capital, specializes in the import and wholesale of agri-food products, personal hygiene and household products.
The distribution of the products to the beneficiaries was made with 3.5 ton vans. The company has its own storage space.
In 2010, the company began to feel the effects of the economic crisis because many of the companies I worked with either did not pay their debts and were left without paying their bills, or went bankrupt and could not cooperate with them.
More than 60% of our partners have disappeared. The marketing of our products has been greatly reduced. That’s why we started to focus more on transport and to open the transport-related activities part, ie the spedition house part.
Financial outlook.
In 2010, the turnover was approx. 520.000 euros, of which 400.000 euros(75%) was trade, and 120,000 euros (25%) transport and related activities. In 2011 the turnover reached 580.000 euros, of which 320.000 euros (55%) was Trade, 260.000 euros (55%) was Transport and Related Activities. In 2012 the turnover was 600,000 euros.
We invested in this project using European funds worth 100,000 Romanian Lei to achieve even better results in 2013, when capital assets reached the level of 930.000 euros achieving a growth of 58%. In 2014 we increased our capital assets to 1.400.000 euros, an increase of 40%, in 2015 to 1.650.000 euros (25% increase) and 1.860.000 euros in 2016 to an increase of 10%.
In 2017 the Turnover reached 2.300.000 euros, an increase of 18% over the previous year. In 2016, the number of employees in the transport segment increased significantly in order to expand this activity. In 2019, 99% of the activity was formed by the transports and transport related activities.
Working in this segment is getting harder and harder, but we managed to reach the turnover of 2,300,000 euros after 2 years of decrease. Of course we managed to reach this with the help of our employees. Despite the fact that the year 2020 was one of the hardest years due to COVID 19, we still managed to overcome the obstacles that appeared during the year in order to reach the proposed target of 2,400,000 euros.
Our plan for 2022 is to reach 2,700,000 euros in turnover. The most important thing for us is to do everything in our power so that all our partners are satisfied with our services and we believe that this is the only way we can develop and evolve so that in 2025 we reach a turnover of 3,000,000 euros.
